Open Mic Competion T&C’s

  • The entries end at 12pm Sunday, 9th September. Entries received after this date will not be counted.
  • The promoter is The Grafton shopping Centre. The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
  • To enter the event, you MUST submit your entry through The Grafton’s website and enter contact information, preferred performance dates and times, plus a link where the artist or band can be viewed online.
  • A £100 fee will be paid to an artist or band to perform for 45minutes. Should the band consist of more than 1 person, the £100 fee will be split between the members. An artist / band can be asked to perform multiple times; therefore a £100 fee will be paid per 45minutes, per performance.
  • There is no entry fee to enter this event.
  • No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  • The Grafton reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice.
  • We reserve the right to substitute the fee for any prize with the equivalent value without giving notice.
  • Successful entrants will be selected based on the online audition.
  • Successful entrants must confirm acceptance of the invitation within 3 days of offer.
  • Successful entrants will be contacted via email, the artist’s contact details may be passed onto a third party for event fulfilment purposes.
  • If any emails to the artist / band are returned as undeliverable or the artist / band does not respond in 3 days of being notified then The Grafton reserve the right to offer the performance to another artist / band in accordance with the process described above.
  • The Grafton retail staff, managers, supervisors, and their immediate families of those can enter to perform during the event.
  • By entering the online audition, the artist / band consents to any publicity generated as a result of the submission and use on websites, social media platforms, magazines or mobile services at any time without further consent or payment.

Social Media and Event Competitions

– The promoter of the competition is The Grafton shopping Centre
– The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Twitter.
– The prize draw is open to UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding The Grafton shopping Centre employees, their immediate family, or any person or company associated with the draw.
– One prize per person, winner should be present to redeem.
– Details of how to enter form part of the terms and conditions; it is a condition that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor abides by these rules.
– The decision of the winners is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
– The closing date of the competitions is stated on social media pages.
– Should the park be unable to contact the winner, or should the winner be unable to accept the prize, we reserve the right to award the prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.
– The prizes featured are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
– The winner will need to collect the prize from the park at a mutually convenient time.  We are unable to post prizes unless otherwise stated.
– Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and accordingly the
– Promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof.

We may give general statistics about our customers, sales, and related site information to other companies however these statistics will not include any information that personally identifies you, unless we have said otherwise in this policy.

Photography in The Grafton
A member of Centre Management may approach anyone taking photography of the Centre and its aesthetics which could be used in any media publication or research documents. To obtain approval of such activity, please contact Centre Management.
