Electric Car owners visiting Cambridge can now 'recharge' their batteries - physically and metaphorically - with a visit to The Grafton.
Two electric recharging points are now available at The Grafton East Car Park, provided by Cambridge City Council with assistance from Marshall Motor Group.
Positioned on the first floor of the Grafton East car park, electric car drivers will be able to recharge their cars while enjoying some retail therapy at The Grafton.
Users of the Recharging Bays will be able to recharge their cars for up to three hours free of charge, although the usual car parking fee will have to be paid.
The recharging points offer the simple and safe recharging of electric vehicles and are accessed by the use of an electronic key, which is provide when users join the Chargemaster recharging scheme.
"At The Grafton, we embrace as many environmentally friendly initiatives as possible," says Michael Wiseman, Centre Director. "This recharging facility reinforces this commitment and we hope that with the installation of more recharging points at city centre locations will encourage people to consider buying an electric car when they look to replace their existing vehicle."
